Intention

my love for you  
  is no accident 
I love you with intention 
 devoted to giving my 
  full attention  
   to fulfilling 
     your deepest needs 
      your wants and desires 
so that every morning
  you can wake
   to chase 
     those elusive dreams  
 and every night
   you can sleep
     knowing 
   that love is no myth 
     because we embody 
           what love is 
                     every day

Personal note:
I don’t know what it is, but I sincerely love this little poem. It came to me after a Tai Chi session where the trainer was discussing moving with intention, and I started musing and writing from there.
I feel it’s not just for romantic relationships, but for a shift in focus to act decisively towards love. I hope you find as much beauty in this thought as I do.
It’s definitely something to work towards for sure…
