Impatient

he rushes
trying to push
intimacy onto her
into her
and she brushes away
his impatient attempts
but still clings
to the thin veil of hope
that there will be
one valid moment
where he relaxes
and breathes her
truth and beauty
into him

against all
friendly advice
she stays

wholeheartedly
waiting
for his urges to
subside
so she can calm the bear
inside the man
