How do you write what people actually want to read?
do I write this for them
or is it for me?
personally
writing to try and please
the universal audience
is the wrong angle
just asking for
disappointment
and frustration
instead
I ask the simple question–
do I like what I’ve written?
if I like it
then someone
somewhere
is going to like it too
maybe even more than one
