over-complicate
what we think we need

or attain
constantly chasing
exotic destinations
instead of enjoying
everyday adventures
(or making every day
our great adventure)
completing bucket list
tick boxes and moving
on to the next on the list
instead of finding full
joy in the moment
getting lost in
this mystery called
now
feeling the wonder
of sharing a bed
or shower
or pool
or beach
or couch
or cinema seat
or a balcony at a hotel
together
knowing
we are consumed
in each other
instead of feeling
constumed
in pretension
those are
beautifully
simple delights
I want to
find true pleasure
with you
basking in
in the simple things
that make this world
beautifully

and real
