so confident
displayed in your glory
the artist’s blessed muse
with glistening skin
bathed in sunrise hues
amidst the rocks and waves
you have given
full permission
to the painter
to share your naked
body and soul

in essence
inviting me
to gaze with intent
to ogle and
stare
strutinise every detail

for as long as I can
endure
but there is an
inherent
dilemma
