sometimes
all I have
is a
dream

a dream for deeper
harder
more intimacy
closer
together

I can’t explain
the dream
but it’s there
right under the surface

when I look at
you
that dream grows
stronger
every moment
I feel passion
building
pushing through the
dreary fog
of daily
duties

I crave you
to kiss your soul
just as much
as kissing your
sweetness

automatically
my mind undresses you
and remembers how
your skin feels
under my fingers
I try to hide the
thought but
I can’t help it
as I know
you are
so much more than
just a fantasy

your scent
is locked into my
subconscious
like a waypoint
on a map
to help me find my way
whenever I feel
lost

when you look
at me
do you share
the same dream
do you want me
as I want you

today
can we fulfill this
dream
together
and then
make an appointment
to
dream again
tomorrow
