sometimes it feels
like nothing is changing
no movement
just drifting along
the stream
and then you feel
sudden shift of
pull towards something
more
an energy ready to
take you over the edge
I fall
and with all my effort
I try to
swim against the current
until finally
I surrender
to the greater
let the current
take me
either to my doom
or my freedom
